Nelson Bay Electrical Service in Newcastle, NSW is owned by Matt and Renee McGarry. Matt and Renee commenced the business in 1998, originally operating from their garage in Nelson Bay. Starting out mainly working in the domestic area in Port Stephens, they had a vision to move the company into the large project commercial sector. With perseverance and passion over the past 20 years their vision has seen the company transform into one of the largest commercial electrical companies servicing Newcastle.
Our core focus is to provide a premier service on complex projects for construction companies that are looking for an experienced team of electricians to deliver a fuss free project. Get in and get the job done right the first time.
We currently have a team of 18 electricians and we are continually expanding. Our team has a wealth of experience, with many years in the industry and the majority of the team working together for 10 years or more. No job is too large or complex for them to handle. They offer a diverse range of skills and an impressive camaraderie onsite, this shows in their ability to get the job done safely and efficiently.
Having achieved code compliance for Government projects we are more than familiar with working onsite safely, and approach matters in a proactive way. Our team are like family and our number one priority is that they return home safely every day.
Over the years we have completed many large projects in locations far and wide such as Sydney, Tamworth, Forster, Gosford, Singleton and Merriwa.
With staff licensed as excavator operators, heavy vehicle truck operators, communications providers, Cbus technicians and trained in Autocad for design we are able to cater for a diverse range of projects. Our large modern fleet of plant and equipment are kept in pristine condition and our staff proudly wear their uniform giving a professional look on site.
